The purpose of DPCLA is to educate, engage, and empower students to become leaders in the rapidly evolving fields of data privacy and cybersecurity law. DPCLA aims to bring in expert speakers, offer insightful lectures on the latest technical and legal developments, facilitate networking opportunities, and supply resources to individuals who are interested in data privacy, cybersecurity, and other related fields. We seek to increase the level of discourse surrounding data privacy and cybersecurity both on campus and within the wider community in order to promote awareness of and education about data privacy and cybersecurity issues. Through collaborative research projects, events, and hands-on learning experiences, we strive to empower the students at Suffolk University Law School to actively participate in and make a meaningful impact in this crucial and emerging field of law. We shall empower the students of Suffolk Law to actively engage in this emerging and crucial area of law through collaborative research projects, events, and experiential learning.
