Data Privacy LLC is a law firm providing services only on data protection law. The company aims to facilitate various business industries to process personal data in accordance with the laws of Georgia. The main inspiration for establishing the company is a new Law on Personal Data Protection adopted by the Parliament of Georgia on 14 June 2023, which will become effective as of 1 March 2024. By the Law, certain industries such as medical institutions, insurance organizations, electronic communication companies, airports, airlines, commercial banks, and micro-finance organizations have to designate a Data Protection Officer having appropriate knowledge of data privacy. The company team consists of seasoned professionals with appropriate qualifications, who have many years of experience working with international and local companies on privacy law. All lawyers hold internationally recognized CIPP/E certificates that demonstrate their knowledge of data protection within the European Union.
