Data Studies at CBS

Data studies is an interdisciplinary research group, located within the department of digitalization at Copenhagen Business School. Drawing on insights from information systems, computer science, economics and sociology, we study data as a focal phenomenon to examine its impact on business and society. Data studies seeks to attract a diversity of perspectives to advance knowledge of the opportunities and complex challenges posed by data in organization and management. We embrace disciplinary diversity, inclusion, and scholarly innovation and welcome researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students interested in understanding data and questioning its impact on social, economic, and organizational life.
