Data4Women

Behind every missing data point, there is a voice left unheard. Data4Women collects, analyses, and leverages data to empower women to fully occupy spaces of public decision-making. Data4Women is an independent, non-partisan NGO headquartered in Paris. Operating both in France and internationally, the organisation works to strengthen women's participation in governance structures. By harnessing data and technology, Data4Women bridges gender-related statistical gaps, revealing the mechanisms that perpetuate women's invisibility and conceal barriers to their political engagement. Its interventions focus on three strategic domains: - Women's political participation, with a specific focus on local dynamics and nomination processes within political parties; - Inclusive community security, serving as a lever to reinforce local governance and protect women's rights; - Collective resistance, true catalysts for social and political transformations. Faced with growing challenges threatening women's rights and democratic spaces, Data4Women acts resolutely to ensure women become central actors in the design of public policies that directly concern them.
