About Data Mining Lab Freiberg

The “Data Mining Lab Freiberg” (DMLF) is a database shared by the Fraunhofer Institutes IKTS and IISB, the Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology and the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg, in which research results related to the topic of lithium battery recycling are collected and aggregated. The DMLF will enable an effective collaboration of all project partners along the whole process chain of battery recycling, from the comminution of end-of-life batteries to the production of new cells using the recycled products. Using modern data analytics methods, the DMLF will play a key role in understanding the correlations between the process chain steps, enabling a more sustainable and efficient recycling of lithium batteries. The DMLF is part of the InfraDatRec Project, aiming to improve the infrastructure for digitalising battery recycling. On this profile, you will find updates.
