Dar Al-Taqwa Mosque

Dar Al-Taqwa was formed in August 1992, by the local Muslim leadership as a community-based nonprofit – 501(c)(3) organization. The institution serves the local Muslim and non-Muslim community in Howard County, Maryland and society at large through the promotion of goodwill, unity and understanding. We are a religious, educational, non-profit, non-political organization. Our community center provides the five daily prayers, including 2-3 Friday Jummah prayers, educational talks and seminars, weekend schools, our daily AQSA Academies, various programs & workshops (i.e., youth, interfaith, outreach, etc.), summer camp, weddings, funeral services, and many other community events & projects throughout the year presented and organized by various Dar Al-Taqwa Committees led by our diverse group of volunteers. Dar Al-Taqwa strives to be a welcoming place for everyone and everyone is invited to use the facility for their social, educational, and spiritual needs.
