Datong Coal Mine Group Co., Ltd.

Datong Mining Bureau, the predecessor of Datong Coal Mine Group Co., Ltd., was established on August 30, 1949, and was restructured into Datong Coal Mine Group Co., Ltd. in July 2000. The company has total assets of 75 billion yuan, 200,000 employees and 54 pairs of mines, which are distributed in Shanxi and Inner Mongolia, with an east-west span of more than 300 kilometers and a north-south span of more than 600 kilometers. In 2009, the coal production and sales volume reached 113 million tons, exceeding 100 million tons for five consecutive years. At present, it has formed a super-large comprehensive energy group with coal as the main industry and electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, machinery manufacturing and other industries simultaneously. The Jinbei coal base under construction is one of the 13 large coal bases planned by the state.
