Datum have been designing and manufacturing sensors and systems to measure Torque and Shaft Power since 1989. Torque Sensors have been supplied to a diverse customer base from Heavy Industry, the World's Navies, Shipping, Vehicles, Product Testing, Agriculture, Civil Engineering and Universities.
Research and Development over the last two years is bringing a constant flow of new features to all of the product range. All systems can be supplied with access to data over Ethernet, Serial RS485/232, USB, Modbus and analogue connections as 4-20mA, +/-10Vdc,+/-5Vdc and more.
New patents have been attained for new sensing elements and methods soon to come to market.
