The German Tunnelling Commetee, or DAUB for short, was founded in 1972 as a central and independent national committee for underground construction. 30 proven experts, equally elected from authorities and public clients, science and planning as well as from the construction industry, work in working groups to deal with all aspects of underground infrastructure and implement overriding goals. Safety and technical progress in underground construction are the focus and our strength. We support decision-makers in technical, planning, legal and public issues concerning underground construction. As part of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA), the DAUB also makes an important contribution to the exchange of experience and intensive cooperation on an international level.
