What is Daughtering? Verb – Daughtering /ˈdɑdərɪŋ/ DAH-duhr-ing The activity of relating to a parent as their child; be or act as a daughter to (a parent). Example: "Adult women are doing daughtering as an act of family and connection.” Adult daughters are actively participating in their families to build and sustain connection, foster love and trust, and prevent conflict.
