David J Cobb Foundation

The David J Cobb Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit that was founded to honor David Cobb, a 17 year old who lost his battle with mental illness when he took his life at home. The David J Cobb Foundation (DJCF) was founded by the parents of David. They are the voice of those who suffer in silence and continue to honor their son and his legacy by helping as many people as they can. It is our mission to break the silence of teen suicide by fostering positive relationships and encouraging open discussions between teens and the community. We believe the community and schools play a critical role in the prevention of teen suicide so we will achieve this through a variety of educational events and programs. The David J Cobb Foundation will bring awareness to this epidemic by providing the support and resources needed to end the stigma and being the voice for those who suffer in silence.
