Dave Monroe has been studying and practicing astrology since the early 1970s. An early affiliation was Isabel Hickey's Boston-based Star Rovers. Later, the Worcester Astrological Study Center was formed. 25+ members met weekly, year round for eight years. Robert Pelletier was one of our mentors. Like many in my era, Dane Rudhyar and Noel Tyl were influential. Early on I discovered Cyril Fagan's Sidereal writings and became infatuated with Solar Returns, later with other forms of Return charts. I have two books which I have published: ** Personal Prediction; this book introduces Solar Returns and Fagan's techniques applied to the Tropical zodiac. ** Personal Moon To Sun Returns 2; this second edition offers a superior form of Lunar Return, bringing the transiting Moon to the natal Sun position. Daily changes (Moon) affects our established life style, intent and direction (Sun). These charts clearly depict unbalancing situations and can suggest the methods for re-establishing balance in your life. Advancing the Return chart diurnally provides daily insights into what is happening. This is a most comprehensive tool for both early-studies and professional astrologers. The author seeks to expand the common 'natal-progression-transit' charting approach by introducing effective and easier to use tools for tracking and predictive purposes. Consider these points: ** Progressions depict trends through a single, and sometimes two, planets making an aspect over time. First, that one planet offers only that planet's meaning in terms of what the trend consists of. Second, the applying-exact-separating time span (even with a tight orb) is often several weeks at best, several month being more common. That is not 'prediction.'
