He has made significant contributions to prestigious organisations like Liverpool F.C., Manchester United, and the Great Britain Olympic teams, playing a role in achieving Premier League titles, Olympic medals, and AFC Championships. As Sporting Director / CEO of Al Ain F.C., David provided the strategic road map that helped put in place solid sporting foundations for the club to achieve a historic league and cup double in 2022 and go on to secure the Asian Champions League title in 2024. He was also pivotal in establishing Qatar's scouting department for the 2022 World Cup, which contributed to their first Asian Championship victory in 2019 and another in 2023. Having served as a first-team scout for Manchester United during the Sir Alex Ferguson era, David provided essential technical and tactical insights that contributed to their Premier League success. At Liverpool FC Academy, he developed young talents who went on to thrive in the Premier League. With an MBA, an MSc in Sports Psychology, and UEFA ‘A’ coaching credentials, David blends extensive knowledge with a passion for helping football organisations achieve success. David now provides insights, support and advice on club acquisitions, strategy, football operations and sporting directorship for owners / investors, executives and sporting directors.
