For over 20 years, we have worked passionately alongside those who live with and for the vine, creating wines that embody the essence of Ceptura, Dealu Mare. With 70 hectares of owned vineyards and 17 hectares leased, we produce no more than 200,000 bottles annually, prioritizing quality over quantity. Each hectare yields a limited harvest, carefully managed through growth control, green cutting, and grape chasing to ensure exceptional flavor and balance. Davino specializes in premium wine blending, crafting wines of remarkable personality and nobility. Our dedication extends to two exceptional varietals—Fetească Albă and Fetească Neagră—showcasing the originality of Romanian viticulture. We respect nature in every step, using traditional methods enhanced by modern techniques. Our vineyards are grassed with wild flora and enriched naturally, with organic practices prioritized to maintain balance and purity. Chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and systemic pesticides are avoided unless absolutely necessary, preserving the integrity of our land. Our unwavering commitment has earned recognition from leading institutions like the University for Agronomic Sciences Bucharest, where our pure vine varieties are used in scientific research.
