Davis & Wright was founded in October 1985, in Austin, Texas, with the goal of developing a legal practice built on strong relationships with its clients, employees and other attorneys. The firm has fulfilled that promise and today boasts more than 20 attorneys, one-third of which are Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, whose expertise is spread across five main practice areas: civil trial law, professional liability defense, construction litigation, insurance litigation, and health care law.
Davis & Wright has forged a unique bond with Austin and its citizens. It has regularly contributed funds and expertise to help individuals and families receive cost-free legal assistance through Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas. The firm has also contributed to more than two dozen other charitable organizations that are based or have offices in Austin.
