Davis HBC, Inc. started out in the 1980's as a sole proprietorship owned by my father, Michael L. Davis Sr., one of the early A level Certified Hospital Inspectors offering IOR (Inspector of Record) services as a retired healthcare architect who served as President of the west coast firm specializing in OSHPD projects. After many years with his influence and highly respected reputation, my brother Michael Davis II, (along with my father, and I as senior consultants) expanded operations and formed Michael L. Davis & Assoc., Inc., better known as MLD, and later MLD Enterprises, Inc. as California corporations starting in 1995. That company has evolved operations into Davis HBC, Inc. (with my father and Michael Davis II as senior consultants). Our methodologies are based on years of experience and diverse project scopes. We provide strongly connected teams of IORs with client and project-based focus. The Davis' culture is founded upon team members who learned early on that relationships are what make this business work. We believe the strongest relationships are based on the core principles of integrity, accountability, commitment and collaboration. So, when we select our team members, we look for people who embody and embrace these values. Our project history list shows that we are prepared and have experience providing IOR services on small to multiple large scale projects with successful close-out.
