We love technical ceramics. Each of our products is made from a composition of raw materials specially adapted to meet the customer’s needs. Pressed with up to 20 tons and fired at over 1000 degrees Celsius (1832 degrees Fahrenheit), it is transformed into our working material. It carries the qualities of its origins within it: strength and fire. Being able to take part in this metamorphosis every day is the greatest gift for us. We manufacture technical ceramics for a wide range of applications and achieve dimensional accuracy to a tenth of a millimeter. For over 60 years, we have been perfecting this process in our parent company, Steka-Werke. As a result of that experience we have become a respected partner and supplier to the electric power and automobile industries. Until now, our products have usually been hidden. They are used as fuses in light fixtures or radiant heaters, anywhere where electricity has to be insulated at high heat. However, the applications of technical ceramics are still unimaginably vast. In nearly every shape that can be pressed, it gets its desired surface or color through specially developed refining processes. Strong and durable, it has become a pleasure to the eye and to the touch. That is what drives us. We want to bring technical ceramics into the limelight and allow more people to experience its wonderful properties. For this reason we have decided to offer you future products from Advanced Ceramix under the brand name Daxndox. Valuable and solid solutions from a centuries-old material, refined by our knowledge and abilities. Because we are enthusiastic users of new technologies, as soon as the iPad was introduced on the market, we saw the need for a stable mounting system for the desk or for presentations. A perfect blend of form, function, and color, with the Dock D1, we think we have developed a really good product that contains much more than you would think at first glance.
