Day One officially formed as a non-profit organization October 2021 in the state of Louisiana. The board currently consists of 7 voting members. All of which share a passion for helping alcoholics and addicts recover from addiction. We understand the value of living in today to stay sober. A foundation of fellowship, routine, and discipline is essential to long term sobriety. We wish to nurture that culture starting here in Lafayette, Louisiana. We want to make a lasting positive impact on our community. We wish help individuals minimize and repair the damage done to themselves and their families through active addiction. Our hope is to lessen the stigma and empower people to recover. Day One Foundations' number one objective is to establish our club house/outreach center. Once established as our home base, we will continue to implement various programs to assist in the recovery of those afflicted with addiction.
