Digital Business Innovation Center (DBIC) was established within CeFIL (Center for Innovation Leaders) as a building platform with leading Japanese enterprises as its core members, alongside external advisors and intellectuals equipped with various business creation expertise and know-how. The organisation was formed in extension of CeFIL's mission to cultivate human resources to revolutionise social and industrial systems through ICT, advancing Japan’s growth strategy. This is especially key in today's age of dramatic changes in both societal and business environments. CeFIL (Center for Innovation Leaders) was established in 2009 by KEIDANREN (Japan Business Federation)’s voluntary member companies to undertake the executive function of KEIDANREN’s advanced Information and Communications Technology (ICT) human resource development working group.
