Dansk Belysnings Service A/S (DBS lys) bygger på det gamle, hæderkronede Søren Madsen Lampe A/S, som blev stiftet i Danmark i 1923. Da det gamle familiefirma ophørte i 1994, gik to af medarbejderne, Dan Thomas Bæhring og Torben Matthiessen, sammen om at etablere Dansk Belysnings Service A/S, nu DBS lys A/S.
Siden er det gået stærkt, og DBS lys er i dag vokset til en moderne virksomhed med en erfaren projektafdeling, med konsulenter over hele landet samt en el-afdeling der varetager monteringen under alle projekter.
Elektriker teamet laver aller former for el-arbejde, både for virksomheder og i private hjem.
