Formed in 2016, DCG Capital is an advisory firm and independent financial sponsor which provides consulting advice to investment firms managing private capital and to growth stage companies which are deploying new technologies and or seeking to expand their businesses with new customers and geographic markets. As an independent sponsor DCG Capital will make direct equity investments in private companies from the early stages of development to later stages, typically partnering with other financial sponsors. Established by Dane Graham, DCG Capital is affiliated with The Graham Group, an alliance of independent investment management firms, operating businesses and philanthropic entities, among which is Graham Partners. The Graham Group investment firms share in the common legacy of an entrepreneurial engineer who founded, built and ran several global manufacturing businesses commencing in 1960 from a modest start in a farmhouse basement in Central Pennsylvania in the United States. The Graham Group today includes a group of investment management businesses and philanthropic entities which collectively manage a multi-billion dollar pool of private capital deployed into strategies including buy-outs, growth equity and venture stage investing, as well as investments in third-party fund platforms. The external capital the Graham entities manage is principally institutional capital of leading university endowments, charitable foundations, public pension funds and other financial institutions. At any given time, Graham’s investment management businesses own controlling or substantial direct interests in roughly three dozen operating businesses, spanning industries which range from industrial technologies to advanced manufacturing to software development, health care, education, and sports.
