Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA)

Founded in 2010, the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA) is a non-profit association dedicated to enhancing the retirement security of America’s workers. To do this, DCIIA fosters a dialogue among the leaders of the defined contribution community who are passionate about improving retirement outcomes. DCIIA’s 175+ member organizations include investment managers, consultants and advisors, law firms, record keepers, insurance companies, data providers, and others who are collectively committed to the best interests of plan participants. In addition, 75+ organizations are members of the DCIIA Plan Sponsor Institute, which provides a forum for education and discussion in a plan-sponsor-only environment. DCIIA also conducts proprietary research and participates in industry collaboration on retirement topics via the 25+ member DCIIA Retirement Research Center. DCIIA is the association partner of the Journal of Retirement and co-sponsors the Excellence & Innovation Awards with Pensions & Investments each year.
