Development Center for Maintenance of Composites

At the Development Center for Maintenance of Composites (DCMC) GKN-Fokker, NLR, TUDelft and SPECTO Services combine and share their expertise on repair and maintenance of composites and hybrid structures. C i r c u l a r h u b We aim to become the circular hub of composites where we: * reduce waste of composites and hybrid structures * reduce costs by not replacing them * spread and share our knowledge with composite producers, users and manufacturers C o l l a b o r a t i o n The world is changing. Many resources will soon run out. Therefore, it’s essential to conserve our resources as much as possible. Maintaining, repairing and recycling materials are ways to contribute to reduce our ecological footprint. To maximize the impact of this hub, co-creation and collaboration is crucial. L o c a t i o n The Fieldlab DCMC will be developed and located at the Aviolanda hall at Business Park Aviolanda. In addition, the DCMC is part of the European Development program OPZuid.
