D-Congress

D-Congress is the meeting place where the leading actors in commerce gather to inspire and be inspired about the latest trends shaping the commerce of tomorrow. D-Congress is organized by Svensk Handel and is Sweden's most popular and largest meeting place for digital commerce. Every year, more than 2,800 participants, over 100 exhibitors, and more than 100 speakers meet at Svenska Mässan in Gothenburg. Everyone in the industry is there! History D-Congress was first organized in 2015 by Svensk Digital Handel and Svensk Handel at Svenska Mässan in Gothenburg, but it has a history that dates back to 1973 when the Mail Order Association, an interest organization for distance trade in Sweden, was formed and organized annual meetings in Borås, including the Distance Trade Day. Between the years 2008-2022, D-Congress and its predecessor in Borås were owned by Svensk Handel's wholly-owned subsidiary Svensk Digital Handel AB. On January 1, 2023, Svensk Digital Handel was merged with the parent company Svensk Handel, which continues to organize D-Congress.
