De Autostudio is opgericht door Pieter Koolen en Lars van de Weteringh. Beide ondernemers hebben veel ervaring in de autobranche en onder andere gewerkt binnen de BMW dealer organisatie en hebben derhalve ook een voorliefde voor dit merk. Zij delen dezelfde visie als het gaat om auto's: de liefde voor BMW's en het idee de auto's te presenteren naar de huidige tijd. Een concept dat wellicht niet 'nieuw' is, maar wél verfrissend.
