De Keyser Thornton group

De Keyser Thornton was established in 1853, and is up until today one of the oldest and largest privately owned shipping agencies in Antwerp. In 1948, DKT-management decided to expand the scope of services offered, and created De Keyser Expeditions, a forwarding company. In 2000, DKT became a member of the French Naxco-group, a leading fully integrated logistics service provider. Since then, the DKT-group has further expanded through a number of acquisitions and strategic partnerships. - Two shipping agencies, Unamar and Trimar, were bought. - The commercial activities and staff of SBTC-Sotramar, a leading project-forwarder, were taken over. - A majority shareholding was acquired in DAS logistics, a Brussels-based airfreight forwarder. - A new shipping-agency, DKT Allseas shipping, was started in the London-area, in partnership with UK-based Allseas Global Logistics. Additionally, the DKT-group is a member of several worldwide networks, enabling us to offer our services on a worldwide scale.
