De Kreun is the birth place of Sonic City festival, an underground/niche 2-day music fest, inspired by All Tomorrow's Parties (ATP). Sonic City has been curated by SUUNS, Deerhoof, Dälek and Millionaire and will have its fifth edition in december 2012.
De Kreun has been around for about 30 years, and works closely together with 4AD (Diksmuide), 4Ecluses (Dunkerque) and Le Grand Mix (Tourcoing). In addition, cooperations with other Belgian/French music venues such as l'Aéronef in Lille happen more than sporadically.
