De Raat Security Products Ltd

De Raat was founded in the 1950’s by Mr. W. De Raat in The Hague (The Netherlands). Originally a locksmith by trade, Mr. De Raat had a vision of becoming a major supplier of high quality safes and secure storage in the international safe market. In 1967 De Raat Wholesale B.V. was created, which then changed to De Raat Security Products in 1989. The European headquarters is now based in Zoetermeer, however De Raat has since opened offices in Belgium and the UK and supply many markets in- and outside of Europe. The De Raat is part of a group of safe manufacturing with factories in Germany, Italy and Poland. This is making it one of the largest manufacturers of security safes in Europe. The group manufactures both ‘off the shelf’ certified safes and bespoke security solutions for domestic and commercial customers. De Raat Security Products UK originally started out as Blaylock Safes in 1995, the name changed to Safes UK Ltd before adopting the De Raat Security Products brand in 2011. The UK Office located in Corby, Northamptonshire.
