Hilversum kan als mediastad nog meer betekenis krijgen voor de inwoners en gevestigde organisaties als de Vorstin een veelzijdig en onderscheidend muzikaal programma aanbiedt en daarbij samenwerkt met andere organisaties met overlappende doelen.
