The DeafIT Konferenz is an accessible educational and informational event for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing IT professionals with a focus on information technology (IT). The conference is accessible to everyone in sign, script and spoken language.
The annual IT conference in Germany is the only event in the German-speaking world of its kind and offers a diverse program with a wide range of professional lectures and workshops on information technology.
The lectures primarily focus on current IT topics with additional topics that address the needs of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population. The DeafIT Konferenz in Germany is primarily aimed at creating an inclusive network platform for the Deaf and hard of hearing, CI wearers, also to expand and promote the active exchange of professional experience and competences and thus networking in the IT industry.
