Dearborn Public Health

The City of Dearborn Department of Public Health launched in April 2022 & is piloting a health-in-all-policies approach, a collaborative approach that integrates and articulates health considerations into policymaking across city government. We look to advance a public health agenda that emphasizes the health and well-being of Dearborn residents across the life course. DPH will work so that each resident has the opportunity to attain their full health potential and that no one is disadvantaged due to social position or other socially determined circumstances. This is not your typical health department. The City of Dearborn aims to be at the cutting edge of municipal Public Health practice, working innovatively to promote health, joy, and opportunities for social engagement for all residents.
