Dear City

Dear City will make it easy for Danes of all ages to come together in creating greener cities that are even better to live in. Therefore, Dear City facilitates innovative urban projects around Denmark. The projects are initiated by the local community (residents or municipality) and should be of pleasure and benefit of all. The keywords are community, activism, fun and play, urban projects and urban development. As the first step, Dear City has launched an app, which engages people and organizations on several levels in creating greener cities and more community: • The user of the app is encouraged to move around the city either on foot or bike. By doing it (instead of taking a bus or car), the user can save karma points, which can be donated to a cool urban project. • Young designers and creative local forces are encouraged to develop the urban projects , which are collected in the app. The urban projects must bring people together and make life in the local community even better. • Businesses and organizations can support local urban projects economically and thus make them come true. Dear City is an entrepreneurial company, established in 2016.
