Dear Green is named after the precious traded raw green coffee bean but is also a nod to the city of it's conception; Glasgow which in it's Gaelic translation is 'Dear Green Place'.
Bringing the passion and skill of small batch coffee roasting back to Glasgow from Australia, Dear Green was established in 2011 with a commitment to encouraging growth in a fledgling speciality coffee culture in Scotland. Dear Green are a member of the SCA and are aligned with other quality focused speciality coffee roasters around the globe. All raw coffees are imported to the UK via coffee traders who have rigid social responsibility practices ensuring an ethical product. The coffee is roasted on a Probat coffee roaster.
