The Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft e.V. is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental and politically independent registered association. Its aim is to promote German-British relations in all areas of public and cultural interest. Its goals are: - to initiate and promote debate on current economic, political and cultural issues, - to contribute to wider knowledge of all aspects of British culture and lifestyle, - to break down prevalent stereotypes and foster interpersonal contacts between the two countries, - to secure and develop a united Europe while maintaining transatlantic ties.
