Debtflip.io's solution to the status quo is providing a tangible service to both consumers & creditors. If we purchase a portfolio containing active bank account members, we will re-deposit their collection payments as a security deposit to support "second chance" credit opportunities, such as a secured credit card for qualified applicants. We call this debt-flipping: the collateralization of debt recovery to create spendable credit. How this works: 1. After the blank charges off a portfolio of delinquent accounts, we'll purchase the portfolio at an equitable price and assume legal ownership. 2. Outsourced collection teams are instructed to communicate debtflip.io's settlement terms to secure a zero-balance status on the account. If the account is a current bank customer, then at the customer's discretion we'll provide notice of the zero-balance and submit their payment towards a secured deposit. 3. The secured deposit can then be collateralized for "second chance" credit opportunities for the account holder. This can include locked tradelines or a secured credit card backed by their collection payments. We require our outsourced collectors to disclose debtflip.io's authorized settlement terms. Shorter terms come with greater discount incentives, and all Debtflip-owned accounts can be settled with a one-time payment of up to 30% of the outstanding balance. We only purchase portfolios that come with complete documentation and supporting contracts. Once we verify the debt, the documents are made available to account holders upon our initial recovery efforts. We also provide seller's agreement to demonstrate proof of ownership. If the account owner wishes to dispute we will provide the necessary channels of communication and assistance. Outreach efforts will be non-disruptive and friendly, and interest will never be added to charged off credit-lines that we own. We request deletion of all accounts reported to the collection bureaus after receipt of payment.
