Decades Event Center

Located in the heart of West Des Moines, Decades boasts 5,000 square feet of space, featuring seating for 275 guests. Whether it's a wedding, birthday party, reunion, corporate event or conference, we promise a memorable evening of fun and celebration for you and your guests. Our spacious ballroom and full-service, handmade bar is completely decorated with rustic, antique decor and intimate lighting to help make the space look amazing. With ample parking, your event will be stress-free from the moment you arrive. We provide on-site services as well as an event director to help you coordinate them all. Originally a Dahl’s grocery store, the space has been transformed into something truly unique! The building was purchased by The Picker Knows Antiques in 2015 with plans to expand the store and utilize the front portion of the space that is now known as Decades for an auction hall. After restructuring, and doing away with auctions Decades was born in the fall of 2016.
