Decision_Lab is a multidisciplinary group, with activities ranging from research, clinic and professional formation. Our lab is involved in the study of psychological and cognitive factors affecting decision making processes in relational, social and health-related contexts. Clinical activities are related to the psycho-oncology field, offering support interviews to patients and healthcare professionals.
In summary, our group is interested in:
1. Psychological factors impacting decisions in everyday, social life, especially those influencing the enactment and maintenance of positive behavioral change (e.g., identity, personality traits, social abilities)
2. Individual and contextual factors able to improve or to impede shared decision making in medical setting
3. Technology and innovative resources to support effective decision in sensitive contexts (e.g., healthcare and chronic illness management) and prevent human error
