Decision Point Informatics is a human informatics company that builds evidence-based, clinically validated algorithms into electronic medical record systems. Our vision is to transform healthcare through clinical decision support and data insights that reduce spending and improve patient care. Our first product, HEART Pathway, improves care for patients who present to the ER with chest pain. HEART Pathway use over the last two years at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has led to a $7M+ reduction in unnecessary spending and directly improved patient care for more than 10,000 patients.
