Decoding Antisemitism

Decoding Antisemitism is a transnational research initiative led by Dr. Matthias J. Becker, Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge. The project combines qualitative discourse analysis with AI-based methods to detect and understand both explicit and implicit forms of antisemitism online. Focusing on digital communication in the US, UK, Germany, and France, the team examines user comments on media reports, podcasts, and other platforms to identify conceptual, linguistic, and multimodal patterns of antisemitic and other hate ideologies. These insights inform the development of machine learning models designed to enhance the detection of antisemitic and exclusionary content across digital spaces.
