DECS is a decentralized app (dapp), built upon Blockstack API which uses BlockStack Naming Service to preserve user Identity with underlying blockchain technology. Your data is end-to-end encrypted with keys that only you hold. You have full control over who has access to your snippets. DECS enables decentralization by providing ability to store your data on the data hub of your choice. Such as AWS, Azure etc. DECS comes with an intuitive UI to create your own snippets or seamlessly import snippets from other platforms such as Github or Bitbucket.
