As the founder of Dee Cee Upholstery & Interiors, Derek boasts several decades of experience in the industry. His career began as an apprentice at the age of 15 and after running a small upholstery workshop for 18 months, he founded Dee Cee Upholstery. At just 21, he became the youngest member in the UK to join the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers (AMU&SF) and more recently, has been elected to become the youngest fellow of the AMU for services to the trade. He now actively serves on the board of directors.
