DEEP Consortium

Supported by the Jacobs Foundation (https://jacobsfoundation.org/maximizing-opportunities-for-digitalization-in-swiss-education/), the DEEP consortium investigates how an equitable digital transformation can be achieved in Swiss primary schools, with the aim of sustainably integrating research findings into the Swiss educational landscape. DEEP is a collaboration of seven universities reflecting the institutional, disciplinary, methodological, and geographical diversity of Swiss educational research. The DEEP Coordination Office is run by the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the Zurich University of Teacher Education (PHZH). DEEP's project activities have started in 2024 and will run for four years. A second four-year period of research and translational activities is foreseen for 2028–2031.
