Sym is an interactive light that visualises breathing, synthesising technology, art and wellbeing. Using custom sensors, the participant's breathing is visualised in a soothing light, picking up deep slow diaphragm breathing. The experience allows the participant/s to focus on breath and breathing through the belly which activates the parasympathetic nervous system, improving physical, emotional and cognitive states overall.
