The Research Area Deep Tech Innovation of RWTH Aachen University bridges the gap between early-stage research and market-ready technologies. Our mission is to overcome the innovation gap between low and high Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) by enabling systematic, cross-faculty, and science-driven innovation processes. We focus on identifying, developing, and scaling disruptive technologies that address complex societal and industrial challenges. Our approach combines academic excellence with practical application, creating new pathways for Deep Tech to reach real-world impact.
