DeepGenix, a mobile App, is an artificial intelligence-based tool that helps users better understand their health conditions. It does not offer a medical opinion or advice. DeepGenix mobile App predicts a disease based on symptoms provided/ felt by a user or patient. The App got launched on March 8, 2020, on Google Play and already has 5K downloads by 6 May 2020. We created DeepGenix with the intent to create awareness about one’s own health and offer quick information on the symptoms in case you do not have access to the doctor. DeepGenix provides health-related information and helps the user understand the symptoms a person is experiencing. The user has to provide at least 3 symptoms for the same. Here is an example: Symptoms: (i) Cough with blood (ii) Breathlessness (iii) Fever DeepGenix then analyses users' symptoms and predicts the probability of a particular disease while indicating the severity of the disease as a value between 0 and 100. The app also educates the user by describing the particular disease in detail and suggests tests relevant to the disease. Please note we highly recommended consulting a qualified doctor before undergoing any tests. As an educational tool, DeepGenix offers information on preventive actions such as changes in eating habits or lifestyle. We recommend the users provide lifestyle data for accurate predictive information. Presently DeepGenix provides information on the below-mentioned categories: 1. Liver 2. Pancreas 3. Intestines 4. Lungs 5. Heart 6. Kidney 7. Throat 8. Nose 9. Ears 10. Bones 11. Blood 12. Parasites attack 13. Bacterial attack 14. Viral attack 15. Vitamins & Minerals As of now, the app is available in English, Hindi and Marathi languages. We will be adding multiple languages soon. In the next release of the app, users will be recommended specialist doctors and laboratories based on the disease.
