DeepScene is a platform for crowdsourced media tagging and monetization on the blockchain. Our computer vision technology and utility token SceneCoin (SCN) reinvent the way advertisers and audiences connect by turning images, movies, TV series, clips, and commercials into shoppable, visually-searchable events. Via the DS app, consumers snap frames with a smartphone, smart TV, set top box, or AR wearable to shop products, connect via social media, and explore networks of user-curated content. DS contributors earn SCN by tagging products and information in pictures and video; smart contracts coordinate accurate tagging without central oversight. Blockchain records of provenance and tag revenue make DS a platform where existing content databases—today locked inside of non-interoperable siloes—can monetize their tags to receive transparent remuneration. Together, DeepScene and SceneCoin foster a scalable, global database of content tags with business uses spanning e-commerce, product placement, advertising, and visual search.
