Defense Logistics is the only private defense contractor company in Fiji with its extended branch set up in PNG.This company is formed under the government’s frame work of “Public-Private sector partnership” The main core function of the company is to secure global ware house manufacturers, who are specialized to supply the regional departmental needs, defence needs, police standard equipments, medical supplies, anti-riot gear, electronic gadgets, marine boarder solutions and telecommunications. The company’s additional function is to provide research, training and development of human capital, development of services and products, systems and solutions, and procurement of products and services between the point of origin and the point of consumption. This is specifically done to meet the requirements of all the stake holders in the all government departments, defense forces and private sector organizations.
Our work involves, the integration of information, product specifications, shipping schedules, inventory, warehousing, material handling, and packaging, and often security. The company is a channel of the supply chain which adds the value of time and place utility.
