Defend Iceland

Co-funded by the European Union and the European Cybersecurity Competence Center. Defend Iceland is a unified bug bounty platform with a national approach to cybersecurity resilience, merging the knowledge of ethical hackers, security researchers, and cybersecurity enthusiasts, to identify and fix vulnerabilities across Icelands digital landscape. Our mission is to increase the digital resilience of Iceland as a whole by reducing the risk of cyberattacks. Our approach includes boosting the cybersecurity preparedness of organizations, developing the skills of ethical hackers and cybersecurity enthusiasts, and giving small and medium sized companies a cost-effective and accessible platform to address vulnerabilities, thus reducing their risk of cyberattacks. This is how we will create a safer digital environment for both businesses and citizens in Iceland, improving security culture and building a more resilient society.
