For over 80 years, the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) has served as the Department of Defense’s official central repository for scientific and technical information, connecting groundbreaking research to the Warfighter, accelerating advancements for our nation’s defense. DTIC manages and disseminates the DoD's multi-billion-dollar annual investment in science and technology. We provide a secure, comprehensive platform for over 70,000 defense researchers, Federally Funded Research Centers (FFRDCs), University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs), and other members of the community to access, share, and build upon critical knowledge, ensuring past gains are preserved and future breakthroughs are realized.
