Defense Week is here to serve the recruitment, retainment, and advancement of Black and other underrepresented groups, women, and veterans in the defense industry. During March 1-3, 2022, Defense Week is aiming to be the singular event for job seekers with a diverse background and recruiters with a commitment to diversity and inclusion to connect. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about defense roles and meet with defense employers from across the nation. Through a series of workshops, panels, keynotes, attendees will gain business insight and learn about the latest defense industry trends.
Defense Week also serves as a resource for entrepreneurs and small business owners. With special emphasis on minority, women, and veteran owned businesses. Defense Week was created to be a bridge that links the greater defense industry to a diverse supplier base. Defense Week seeks to provide a networking platform for attendees to grow their B2B and B2G partnerships and for private companies and government organizations to identify potential contractors.
